    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced civil professional who is looking for the next step in their career. You will be managing and mentoring across our 3 Water Assets team in Wellington and will be contributing to the success of the business including; developing strategies, forward resource planning, maintaining and developing industry relationships and seeking new opportunities and reporting progress to the Group Manager.
    We are looking for someone who has a strong presence in the NZ water market who can lead our team across the region and nationally. This covers engineering design services to the water, transport and buildings sectors within New Zealand.
    If you are looking for an open and diverse work place, our Wellington team offer this as well as a stable forward pipeline with secured national and regional contracts.
    The opportunity:
    • Lead, coach and develop staff across the team. Assist in the roll out of all projects from beginning to execution;
    • Responsible for the commercial business, managing resources, financials, productivity, and growing and maintaining external client relationships;
    • Manage and mentor a talented team of 15 engineers. 
    You will have:
    • Registered as a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand;
    • Reputation in New Zealand within the 3 waters sector;
    • Preferred track record with developing business and leading talented and high performing technical teams.
